About This Location

Conder is a suburb of Tuggeranong. Tuggeranong is in turn a district of Canberra. Canberra is the Capital city of Australia. It's called the bush capital due to the amount of vegetation surrounding it. It isn't uncommon to see Kangaroos running around.

The name Tuggeranong is derived from a Ngunnawal (the local Aboriginal tribe) expression meaning "cold place". This it is a cold place in winter, with the hills and mountains sometimes being blanketed with snow. In summer, it can be hotter than hell with temperatures reaching the low to mid 40's (deg C) occasionally .

About This Website

The webserver is powered by Hamsters running on a wheel. They take shifts to keep the wheel turning. The Hamsters do sometimes go on strike and in turn the server goes offline. Usually giving them poke gets them moving again.
